xerox Docuprint 2125

got a xerox 2125 keeps jamming paper. the problem seems to be paper not picking up at all from tray 1. paper was fed only about quater inch and printer stops and show paper jam on the panel. had the problem before for the same model, it turned out the whole Paper Feeder Assembly had to be changed. But the thing is the part is very expensive which makes it's not worth fixing.

Does anyone know a better solution? is it possible I fix the Assembly instead of buying a new one?

any help will be appreciated.
