I do a newsletter. The format is 11X17. I print the equivelant of 3000 8 1/2 X 11 pages per month.
Today I located a Xerox DC 4 CP printer that was used as a comparison test model and has only printed 6463 Documents.
I can get this unit for $1000.
I understand that this unit is 4 years old and has been sitting idle for almost all that time.
Upon booting up, a message appeared on the screen that the drum needed to be replaced but we did print some full color documents and they were very satisfactory.
Will this unit be supported with products for say 4 years?
If I install a new drum and new toner cartridges, how long would I expect to be able to use this unit.
I am retired but have long and wide experience with electronic equipment as an instrument tech. Would I be able to do the maintenance on this unit?
Where do I go to get maintenance and operation manuals on this unit?
Where is the best an most reasonable place to buy the supplies for this unit?
