Xerox automatically reduces pages in booklet format

I have a Xerox Phaser 7400dt without the finisher. For the most part, I love it. However, when I try to print a "booklet" of 8.5 x 11 pages onto 11 x17 double sided, it automatically reduces the print area and I can't find a work around. Has anyone dealt with this?

Great Googaly-Moogally! You may be infected with Pagination!
Try re-formatting the page to the larger size.
