Xerox 8830DDS w/ 7356 Scanner

I have a Xerox 8830 DDS w/ the 7356 Scanner unit attached. A user has just notified me that when she uses the DRT tool to retrieve documents, there are no documents available. There are 2 problems here:

1. I don't know where the documents are stored or how to get to them administratively
2. I don't have the admin password to the 8830 ... defaults 1111, 11111, 2222, and 22222 do not work.

I've installed the DRT software on my system to see if I can view any documents and there are no docs listed when I connect either.

Can anyone help me with understanding / finding the scan config on this unit?

Never mind - I got it. In case anyone finds themselves in this position ...

The admin password is 0 (as in "zero")

The repository directory had been changed at some point on the scanner. Also, the version of the AccXES client was very old and didn't allow alpha characters ... installed version 11 of the client, and made sure the account (repository) information was consistent - problem resolved.

I still don't know much about how this unit is set up or how to change its repository configuration but it's working for now so I'm not touching it anymore if possible!
