Xerox 8560MFP/D Scanning question???

Here is my situation, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to bypass this crappy Xerox proprietary scanning software. My users need to be able to scan directly into Adobe Acrobat 8, without having to go thru this utility. As of right now I can't figure out how to make it bypass that software. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
