Does anyone know how to make a Xerox phaser 6250N accept a toner cartridge that has been refilled?

I keep my old used cartridges and finish emptying them on the kitchen table. I can shake enough out of 3 or 4 empty cartridges to fill another empty one.

But after I fill one up, the printer still rejects it as being empty. Anyone know of a way around this. I hate to see all this toner go to waste. I think it might be a small technical something to do to make the printer receive it.

One time the printer did recognize it as being full, but since then, it keeps telling me to replace cartridge.

Thanks anyone for any suggestions.

Printing on the cheap will give you just that:cheap results.
You can slip-shod with a lot of low end units, but if you have a quality printer, use quality stuff!
Hopefully, you are using genuine toners, and I can see your dilema with using up toner. The cart may have small lever on the side, that signals empty. I dont know if it can be re-set. Most toners have a chip, and I have seen on some forums a trick for re-setting it. You might try putting a piece of tape on the cart reader, and when the printer tells you it is non-xerox, just hit resume. It may work.
