Using Exceed 6.2, Chooser list builds very slow.
FTP to HP-UX boxes from NT workstations is extremely slow
Telnet from NT workstations is extremely slow.
Unix to Unix is fine, both FTP and Telnet, even an NT server to Unix is fine.
Disabled DNS resolution on HPUX (just using hosts) allows browser to build properly.
DNS server works fine from nslookups and anything else.
It is an intermittent failure, after a couple of dayz everything goes back to normal.
Linux boxes seem to work OK?
(When the condition exists the linux log reports this error:
gdm_xdmcp_decode Could not create buffer)
Looked up this Linux error says "an exploit exists in xdmcp for this error message"
Shut the Linux down still same trouble on Network?
Any Ideas?
