XDM Picture card

I recently purchased a Fujifilm, 512 MB XDM picture card on eBay.

It works fine in my camera, recording photos, and camera playback if fine. The photos also download to the computer via the USB cable. However, the card will not download from a card reader, instead I get an on-screen message saying the card is not formatted, which of course it is. All my other XD cards download from the card reader.

Is the "M" in the card type a significant factor?

I found the solution, a software update is required to run the "M" card. Download:
