xcopy failures to remote server 1

I am trying to run the xcopy command to copy files from a file server to a local file server to remote file server. Periodically we will receive an error that the xcopy failed "Path not found". However, the path is correct. This will occur half way through the copy. If anyone has ever ran into this issue your help would be appreciated.

xcopy source destination /c

The /c switch lets xcopy continue even if there is an error.

I used to have this same error with no apparent reason, everything seems to copy ok now.

also make sure long file names with spaces are in quotes

ex.

"\\servername\share name\files
