Running Server 2003 SBS on domain controller and 2003 standard on a member server I am installing exchange 03. I was wondering if anyone knew whether I had to do forest prep and domain prep on the member server in a 2003 sbs enviroment? If so, which system?

ok, so why are you installing a full exchange server when you already have SBS running? You don't need to run either of them against your DC as you already have Exchange 2003 installed and running.

2003 sbs is the domain controoler and i had extra system and software, both OS and xchnge. My preference was to have the member server with xchnge seperate in the event it goes down for what ever reason.

If you've not set up Exchange on the SBS box then you'll need to run forestprep and domainprep off the Exchange disk then.
