XC upgrade

We have a customer with a MICS R4.1, one 6-port fiber expansion, 1 trunk mod with 3 trunk cards, and 5 station mods. They want to expand to R4.1 XC with an additional 6-port expansion. My question is will the system maintain its programming when adding the second 6-port expansion? Thanks.

It should as long as you are going up an expansion card and not down. What will work for sure is a workbook back up and restore. I have proved this jumping from 1 two port exp card to no exp card in an MICS 4.0. Same priciple I should think. I haven't tried the 'real' back up and restore under those conditions.
