XBSA Message "current request exceeds parallelism"

Hello,

I got the following message during backup of MSEXCH:MB for several mailboxes in the xbsa.messages logfile:

XBSA-1.0.1 rb_belldev_2006.Build.315 8148 Tue Aug 14 23:12:40 2007 _nwbsa_is_retryable_error: received a retryable network error (Severity 0 Number -13): current request exceeds parallelism

The client parallelism is set to 1 (one)....

The error occurs every night for different mailboxes.

Ideas?

Exchange 2003 SP2 on W2003 server

Hi,

have you tried to set the parallelism higher? What is the server parallelism? Is there actually a problem with the backups or are they retried with success?
