Xante 3G Printer Issue

I'm having a problem with a Xante 3G printer. The drivers on the machines (some G4 Cubes, some IMacs, some custom Macs...all running OS 9.x) are all updated to the latest version from the Xante website. When multiple workstations print to the printer it can take several hours for the documents to print. However at other times they come out immediately. There doesn't seem to be any consistant cause. The 3G has it's maximum amount of RAM at 256MB. Any ideas?

Are you using spool files to print or are you trying to print directly to the printer
(foreground or background)? I believe that it might help things if you set them all to background printing so that they could communicate with each other instead of jamming the pipe all at once.
