x86 Hardware registers?

not clear what do u mean "hardware registers" definetly videomem is not a register, just a part of mapped memory.
in intel real mode all the mem within C000-E000 segments is allocated for additional possible hardware adapters, so any manufacture can use any address there for his needs
if u need ports, i advise visit
