I'm trying to use LDAP to allow a NOTES client, access to an Outlook2000 users Public key and vice versa. I can encrypt by either, replying to the message, or by saving to a local address book.

Full anonymous x509 attributes have been set against the DS, but a straightforward LDAP lookup to NOTES/EXCHANGE still does not show a x509 certificate and therefore does not allow encryption.

please, please, please will someone let me know what I'm doing wrong!!!

PS I am using certificate server to act as the CA and KM as the enrollment agent

me again......it appears that I can send via an internet only client( i.e. I can see the LDAP cert.) but not under corp/workgroup mode.....Microsoft say this is by design......I can't believe this is not possible without having to resort to the use of a 3rd party.

any ideas???
