Have a stack of 4 X450e-24p switches (originally setup using the easy stack config). A while back a switch went haywire - scrambled. Replaced it but had to end up unconfiguring all of the switches and redo the config with a easy stack setup...thankfully there wasn't much else to the config

No I have had a switch die (bad power supply). It has been removed already and now I have a replacement. What is the proper way to install/get the stack back to normal after adding the replacement back in?

Match the software level of the stack, then add it to the stack. Then use the MAC address to assign it the desired slot number

Code:
configure stacking node-address aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff slot number x

aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff represents the MAC address of the switch you're adding, x is the slot number you want to put it in.
