Is it possible to remotely manage control the log files on x342 Servers ?

Is there a bios setting for allowing the oldest errors to be overwritten or does this happen by default.

Thanks

Depends...do you have an RSA installed? If so, you can use IBM Director to manage the systems (or the RSA's web-based GUI without IBM Director). From either, you can save and/or clear the logs. Typically, if the logs are full, you've had the box up/down/connected/disconnected from power a bunch of times, or its reporting a problem you have not corrected. In either case, when complete, you should clear the logs and start from a clean slate.
