Hi all,

I'm trying to find if there's an X25 daemon into AIX 4.3.3 and if yes, the way to start and stop it into smit or with commands (like it exists under SUN Solaris)

Moreover, On my RS6000/43P150, when I do an ldev -C | grep X25, I see an SX25VC defined, and whith a ps -eaf | grep X2, I see a X25linkd. Anybody knows what those are exactly ?

Thanks

I am only guessing that the X25linkd is your X25 daemon. You can stop/start stuff with `stopsrc` and `startsrc`. For daemon-level stuff you use the -s flag to specify the daemon, such as `stopsrc -s qdaemon`. The -g flag is for groups, such as the tcpip group.

Corrections anyone? IBM Certified -- AIX 4.3 Obfuscation
