X12 TS 200 mismatch

Hi,

I am reviewing the implementation guide for X12 transaction set 200 version 4010, and notice that element 2/110 NX1-01 can have one of { 8B, F4 }. The problem is that I have a file (yes its the same ts and version) that has RJ in that place. I know that's a valid entry for element 2/240 NX1-01, but that shouldn't apply here. Does anyone have any experience with this? Did the file supplier interpret the format wrong or did I?
