Hello

I want to run a GUI database tool on SCO Unix. However, I need to get X-windows running first, and I don't have a clue. Can someone tell me how to build my DISPLAY variable value. SHould I use a tty number or my PC name?

Hi. Generally speaking, you should add a line:

export DISPLAY = <Your PCs IP address>:0.0

in your .profile or other login file. That should enable you to do the necessary. HTH.
