X window login??

I installed REDHAT 7.0 with automatic start of X-windows. X-windows demmands login. When i use password for ROOT, login isnt sucessful. Whats wrong? Do I have bad root login password???

are you typing the user-name root as ROOT? or the password, they're case sensitive you know Mike

Hi Majli,
may be password is wrong. may be you forget password, may be you are typing in wrong case.

If you want to reset password for root. Bring the system in single user mode and chage the /etc/passwd file.
