X-terminal boot

I'm trying to boot my HP Entria X-terminal from
a SUN-Solaris box via tftp. The boot seems to be going
OK at first, but stops at a late stage with
the error message:

Failed to load X server: Not owner

Any ideas? I tried chmod 777 * in the directory
where the X server file is, and I have been able
to download the file (C3231A) manually with tftp
to another machine.
