When I try to log on to a solaris server through xvision I get this message:

Failed to set font path element 'tcp/xxxx##:7100'.

How do I eliminate this error?

Regards,
Chike.

enalble font server (fs) in /etc/inetd.conf and [re]start inetd
or configure program to not use font server

Hi Lubeg,

I have edited the inetd.conf file and sent a HUP signal to it. The problem still persists however. I noticed that this only occurs on the machines with Solaris 5.6 but not on the one with Solaris 5.8.

The etc/services file is okay too.

Regards,
Chike.
