X server does not initialize

Any one knows what this mean----

Iam running sco 3.2v5.0.0 and I am not able to get X server to work.I get the following error message in /usr/adm/X0msgs

failed to set default font path '/usr/lib/X11/fonts/misc/,/usr/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo/,/usr/lib/X11/fonts/Type1/,/usr/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/,/usr/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/'
Fatal server error:
could not open default font 'fixed'


I have checked all the permissions in /usr/bin/X11 and they are all set correctly. Any help would be appreciated.
