x server crashes

Hi,

when i login to X it logs in fine, but after a random
time, whether i do anything or not, i get kicked out to
the login prompt again. no error message or anything.
when i try to log in again, it asks if i want to connect
to the previous session or not, and then logs me in
and the whole thing repeats.

is there a log file that messages may be written to

What does the inittab entry look like for X server process?
pls port it.

hi, i have sorted it, my finger slipped and
i had a low res mouse instead of a high res one.
