OK, so after trying linuxMCE (which I found almost impossible to get working), I went with KnoppMyth. Pretty slick... installed easily... but I have a couple of issues, and maybe someone here can give a hand.

I have a dual-head nVidia GeForce 6500. The primary output is VGA, and the second is hooked to the HDMI input on my TV. The HDMI is obviously the one I want to use, but I don't know enough about configuring X to say "Hey, use the SECOND output instead of the first one...."

I'm sure it's something simple, but I've looked and looked and can't seem to find where to change it.

I'm fairly certain the answer lies in /etc/xorg.conf

So, any thoughts?

I don't know anything about the KnoppMyth distro, but you should be able to edit xorg.conf.

It's rather difficult to tell you how to edit the file correctly without even knowing what was discovered by Xorg. If you can post the following from xorg.conf:

-All "Device" sections that pertain to video
-All "Monitor" sections
-All "Screen" sections
-The "ServerLayout" section

then I may be able to help you.
