X-Quark'er: simple, but I'm just not finding it... 1

In Quark - Start a new doc, select the x-box tool, hit "get picture" - image is installed.

In my new "Indesign" (just loaded today)- Can't even find a tool that will let me import an image. HELP!!!!

Not off to a good start here. Stick with me. I'm usually really not THIS LAME. It's just when you are used to a certain way of doing things and then all of the sudden "poof" it's gone...

File > Place - works for either text or images. You don't have to draw the frame first.

Under Edit>Keyboard Shortcuts, you can select to use Quark shortcuts If that would make you more comfortable
