What X server are you using? Just the standard Solaris on, or something running on a PC for example? Annihilannic.

I'm exporting my X11 display on Solaris to Hummingbird on my PC.

Ah. I've encountered this before, but no longer use Exceed so can't refer to it. There is a font manager applet with Exceed which you can use to import fonts.

If you can track down those fonts, either in /usr/X/lib/X11/fonts or installed somewhere with the RAID manager application you may be able to transfer them across and import them into Exceed.

But, if the fonts really are using invalid, incomplete names it will probably never work. Try another X server perhaps? Annihilannic.

Thanks Annihilannic!!!

"Ah" is music to my ears.
