X-) ArcserveIT on Linux. -> Failed to connect to merge/scan deamon

We have bought ArcserveIT 6.61 / Arcserve 2000 for our network backup solution! We have an SDLT tape hook up to the machine and are doing backup of 6 remote servers on the LAN ! :-s

The server is a RedHat 7.1 box and the install went fine for Arcserve. It does backup the remote servers through the agents but we are not able to get a %-( Complete backup!
We have all sorts of error that give us trouble like: &quot;UNKNOWN PAG COMMAND (0,0)&quot; locked files or this morning &quot;Failed to connect to merge/scan deamon!&quot; >:-<

Can somebody help me to please finish these issues so we can have a full Complete Backup !!!!!!
