My little brother (13) called me thoe other day and started asking about how to build web pages. Since he was going to be in town this weekend I told him I would fiund him some information and programs and burn them onto a CD. The problem is that I haven't used a WYSIWYG editor in at least 7 years, so have no idea whats out there. Basically I am looking for something not to complicated to pick that will also show him decent HTML. I seem to remember way back in the day this program made by some guy that did exactly that, for free. Now that the web is publicised I am having a lot of difficulty finding anything free. I wish I could remember the name of that program :p

Anyways, so what I am looking for is something that will allow drag and drop and write half-decent html that is viewable. It doesn't have to be perfectly up to date, I'm just looking for something to get him started until he learns the basics, then I'll push him to editplus or anothe rtext editor.

Any thoughts? [sub]01010100 01101001 01100101 01110010 01101110 01101111 01101011 00101110 01100011 01101111 01101101 [/sub]

I took a look already (I hit pretty much all the old html editor posts in the html forum and here), but couldn't find a download for it. It wasn't obvious if it had the drag-n-drop of a WYSIWYG editor or was specifically for text based development.
If I try hard enough I could probably find a copy to download, but I'd rather not spend an hour looking if it isn't going to be what I am looking for.

Is it strictly text based? What is the difference in the levels of difficulty? [sub]01010100 01101001 01100101 01110010 01101110 01101111 01101011 00101110 01100011 01101111 01101101 [/sub]

Sorry about that, but for some reason the download link which was there last time I looked at the site has dissappeared.
It doen't provide drag n drop facility it tends to insert want you want from buttons on the main menu.
ie insert image, you then get the option to choose the image and set the size and alt description etc.
In easy mode only basic html is available from the menu
as you move to expert/advanced more facilities are available

I have a copy and if you want to download it I will stick it on one of my sites for you
Hope this helps
