What up..

hey we got a bunch of older 2315SE's and a few new 3235LE's.. Wyse Winterms. Anyway, we're trying to get the wheel mice working with them things and Citrix, but I can't get it to work on either the old or the new..

Do wheel mice work with Winterms? If so, is it something I need to change on my citrix servers?? I tried finding something on Wyse's site, but couldn't find anything solid.. Anyone know?

Thanks
Snoots

I am not sure about the new 8.0 client, but the ones before did not support Wheelie Mice. The ICA client for the Winterms is fvrom Citrix (I believe) therfore their is not support for wheels.

We are using Wyse 3360SE and wheel mice work fine :)

Really?!? Did you have to do anything special on the Wyse term??

What are you using for OS and Citrix version??

Nothing to the WinTerm at all... Out of the Box ICA client.
My farm has Citrix XPe, SP2, FR3 all on W2k Server, SP3
The WinTerms (3360SE) are using Windows CE.

I'll double check with my helpdesk guys, but I think we just plugged them in...

Seen the same problem on HP machines.
Could be fixed with installing ICA client 6.30 on the Thin Client.

A+, MCP, MCSE on NT4.0 and windows 2000 and Windows server 2003 and CCEA

I know wheel mice work with Citrix when you're connecting from an actual PC. My users are connecting via the Wyse Winterms, wich are using ICA 4.0 or something like that for Windows CE.. that's where i'm having the trouble..

Hi,

I use Compaq T1010 with Windows CE 2.12 and the wheel mouse works for me!

I did do an upgrade on the Citrix client and think I'm on Compaq's version 3.5.1 SP2, not too sure as we've moved to Neoware Capio WBT's now.

Cheers,
Carl.
