I am using two Apple computer on a local network.
On this network there is one connection to the WWW, this server runs Novel Border Manager 3.6

I want one of my macs to be access-able from the www.
I want to run a Apache webserver and access my Filemaker database and use Timbuktu to remote conrol my computer.
My network administrator don't know how to open the firewall and make my computer access-able :-(
Is this possible? Is this dificult? Can anyone help me?

It's easy, it's simple, get your network admin involved in this thread.

To start, you need to figure out two IP addresses. The first IP address would be a publicly routable IP address assigned by your ISP. This IP address MUST be static for proper functionality. This IP address also MUST be on the same subnet as the public IP address on the Border box.

Execute and add the line ADD SECONDARY IPADDRESS x.x.x.x to your AUTOEXEC.NCF file

Go into INETCFG on the server, choose PROTOCOLS - TCPIP - ADVANCED - NAT - set it to static and dynamic, enter in the public IP address and the private IP address it wil resolve to.

Go into FILTCFG and program filter excpetions to allow the programs you want to work into your network.

These instuctions are not the great, here is your answer, nuff said kind of answer. This will get you familure, give you what you need to lookup in Novell's knowledgebase, and come back with your questions. Total time to get this done will be able a week, maybe two.

If you want this done faster, it will take a trained system guys about 1 hour to 2 hours to program the Border box, and test the functionlaity.
