Hey all!

I have a linux box that is configured to dial out onto the Internet using WVDIAL. Once it dials it automatically runns the PPP daemon. This all works fine but i dont get my command line back it just sits running in PPP until i do a CTRL + C to end it and disconnect the Internet connection. Is there a swicth for PPP or WVDIAL i can use so when PPP is started i get my command line back?

Cheers guys!

you configured your dial up in wvdial?, if you can do the command of wvdial script to execute the pppd deamon, then you can exit to shell by putting an "&" to the command. and a -detach option in the /etc/ppp/option
