Is it possible to rebuild a WSUS and use an existing disk volume full of updates?

I have a wsus server that I would like to rebuild, it has a separate disk volume where all of the updates are downloaded and ready. Is there any way to scrap the server (keeping the downloaded updates), rebuild it and point it to the pre-downloaded files or am I going to have to spend half a day downloading them again?
