Does the Windows Server Update Service need to be installed on the domain server or can it be installed on a apllication server. The Active Directory is installed on my domain and wondering if that needs to be a priority for the WSus to run.

WSUS does not need to be installed on a DC--any old server will do. Bear in mind you need a SQL Server available, or you will need to install MSDE on the box serving WSUS.

Thanks. Just didn't know if i needed IIS installed on the server that i am using WSUS.
