We use WSUS to patch our servers every month.

I can't see any option in GPO to download and install the patches but do not reboot if user isn't logged on.

Does anyone know how to resolve this or you just have to set a policy of download and dont install, then an admin must log in to start the install and reboot at appropriate time?

thanks

I don't think there is an option for that.
I think the closest you get is under 'Configure Automatic Updates', Enable this, and choose '3 - Auto download and notify for install'.

Because some updates require a reboot following installation, you can't choose to install the updates but not reboot.

I might be wrong of course...!

Thanks, Mark

Yes would appear to be like that,

Thanks for your reply.
