Hello,
I have a Windows 2003 Server SP1 that is hosting our WSUS which is running great except for one anomaly which is failure to synch with Microsoft Windows Updates sites. The server is behind a firewall that has allowed the IP of my WSUS to go through. I've also added these trusted sites to IE Security list with no success:
The error I get from the windows update site is "Your computer's date and time appear to be out of synch with an update certificate" I have checked my CMOS & OS and all is ok there. I followed steps to try to fix this issue on this site with no luck:
The only way I'm able to connect to Microsoft Windows Update site is if I go through this url which takes me through a couple of handshakes:
This means I'll need to manually connect each time through IE instead of taking full advantage of WSUS scheduled synch. I'm curious if anyone else ran into the same situation and found a solution.
If this post should be on another forum. My apologies.
