WSUS License's

Hi peeps,

Im a little confused with what licenses l need to set up a WSUS server for updates.

l know from the site it should be server CAL's, but they are issued if the client PC's use that software. So surly if we log in to the network that use's AD so should'nt l already have the licenses ?? If l do have to purchase the licenses do they cost a lot ?

If your workstations connect to your Windows server and already have a CAL each then no more licencing is required unless you use full SQL server as the Db if you use the supplied WMSDE Db then you are ok.
