I'm working on WSUS at the moment to approve some updates for our 2003 servers. I've come across one update (KB890923) which is "Cumulative Security Update for IE for Windows 2003 Server" which has been superseeded. When I check what superseedes it, it's "Cumulative Security Update for IE for Windows 2003 Server x64 Edition". Surely even if I approve this, my server won't install it because it's not running 2003 64-bit? I've always been declining the x64 and Itanium updates as we don't have either of those. Anybody got any ideas why this update is superseeded like this?
