Hi all,
Got a Windows Storage Server R2 NAS box with direct attached storage as well as local. (It's a Dell PowerEdge)
On a particular logical drive, we have about 8 folders. Most are fine, however a couple have a strange issue where the byte size is 0. These files range from .bkf backups through to text and HTML documents and even executables. The really bizzare thing is that a couple of months back we put a downloaded copy of Oracle 10g (from the Oracle website) on it - so it's not like it's even our own files....
A CHKDSK /F comes back with everything OK, and whilst we could just restore from tape I'm interested as to what has happened to cause this situation in the first place.
Any ideas or suggestions welcome.
Cheers,
Steve.
