WSS Integration with AD 2003

I have a WSS 2003 running in a environment with a mix of NT 4 domains and AD2003 domains. When i add users, users in NT4 comes up fine with all the user profile info like display name and email address, however, when i add a user in a ad 2003 domain, only their UID comes up and no display name or email... any suggestiosn?
