Does having WSS site being able to be accessed from the internet incur any costs from Microsoft?

I havent done it, but my understanding is licencing is an issue for a Portal site open for anonymous Internet access not a WSS site apart from what you would have for any normal webserver.

PS I'm not a lawyer which you need to be to understand MS Licencing so don't take that as being carved in stone. :)

Hello,

We have setup an extranet solution using WSS (it is accessible from the Internet). I think that we had to purchase Windows Server 2003 external connector licenses (I think that they are similar as the regular CAL licenses for W2K3).

Regards,
Thomas

Thank you. Yea some of Micrsooft's licensing is like trying to understand airfares.
