When I run a WSH (by double clicking on a vbs file) the job sometimes appears as an Application in Task Manager but often just becomes a wscript.exe under Processes. There it can get very little memory, even when there's plenty available. I've tried upping the priority.
Any ideas?

sorry i dont get the question. typically a wscript.exe process wont take up that much memory, 3 or 4 meg i guess.
are you saying it is giving you errors about running out of memory?
i get the same behavour as you, it shows up as a process.

It's just that sometimes it appears as Windows SCript Host under Applications. As you say it doesn't need much memory.

yeah, i think the base mem req are about 3 or 4 meg. after that i guess it all depends on how machine variaibles/objects you then create in your application. ive got one which nicks about 10 meg which is no small amount if you ask me
