Is Windows Scripting Host (WSH) already available in Win95? If not, how will i install it?

Thanks in advance.

No, it's not available for Win95 / 98 / NT4. You can download from MSDN site but according to the documentation Win95 is not supported. You might want to try it :)

You can download WSH component and documents here:

-- AirCon --

It shipped with Win98 and is at its last version 5.6, no more updates other than critical will now be undertaken.

Aircon's link provides the whole shooting match, host plus JS and VBS and will work with Win95. The early updates to that which shipped with Win98 were a bit fiddly but this last version is a breeze to install and the included documentation is first class. If it were a book mine would be held together by tape by now!

If you have an iterest in VBScript their's a forum here at Tek-Tips - I'm fairly proficient but I've called by a few times for help.

Have fun.
