Hi,
We are using ClearCaseLT(CCLT) repository for source control and one Dev Team uses WSAD v4 with new dev now using WS Site Developer v5, all teams sharing the same repository. A problem arises due restrictions in the directory naming used by WSAD V4 and WSSD V5 for web projects. WSAD V4 does not require or by default create a /src directory for web projects but does create a /web directory which in its case it names /webApplication. WSSD V5 does require a /src directory but in its case it is called /Java Sources. The /web directory is also named differently as /Web Content.
CCLT requires a direct mapping between the expected IDE directory configuration and what is in the repository, symlinks can be created but not checked out. As such there would appear to be irreconcilable differences between the two IDE's, WSAD V4 and WSSD V5, in terms of their expected structure. As such I'm looking for a way to get both IDE's to accept a common directory structure by changing what WSSD v5 expects to make it recognise WSAD v4 structure. Is this possible and how do we achieve it ?
Thanks
E.
