I recently purchased a micros ws4 for pesonal use for fairly cheap but it didnt come with a power cable.
I tried to use a regular computer power cable but I dont think it is the right kind because when the unit is powered on the micros loading screen locks up and the unit beeps 4 times and shuts off.
does anyone know what kind of power cable/ac adapter the ws4 uses and/or where i can get one?
And if not does anyone know wat else could be causing the unti to stop loading, beep 4 times, and then shut off?
Any helpwould be greatly appreciated as I know nothing of these units.

Thanks,
Josh

The WS4 uses a standard PC power cable. If it was the wrong cable, most likely all you would have seen was a puff of smoke and the smell of burning plastic would be filling your room.

Most likely, the WS4 you bought is defective. Hopefully you can get your money back. Sorry.

You may have a bad touchscreen. There were quite a few WS4's that received touchscreens from a bad batch, and the startup symptoms you report are consistent with that. Your local Micros dealer should have replacements, but they sure aren't cheap.
