WRV54G Won't Reset

I have found this device to be finicky. Each time I set it up, it seems to eventually hang. I have the latest firmware. Now it has stopped responding to the reset button and I can't contact it wirelessly or wired, even though the boot sequence seems OK.

I hold the reset button while the router is on and wait for the power light to cycle off and on again. I did this successfully once before but this time round it will not respond. Can anyone help?

If you hold the reset button in for about 10 seconds you restore the device to factory settings.

Your device IP goes back to 192.168.1.1

Not anymore it doesn't. I have been advised by tech support at Linksys to try holding it in for 30s and then 1min to no avail. Leaving it unplugged 24 hours also didn't help.

I can still ping the device (192.168.150.1 is what I changed it to) but the web configurator won't display and it won't serve IP addresses even though I had switched DHCP on.
