WRT54GX4 secure connection under WPA-PSK TKIP

Hi,

I'm wondering if anybody has succeeded in securing a connection b/w an 802.11b device and Linksys WRT54GX4 using WPA-PSK TKIP?

My 802.11b device can handle this security method. However, i have tried but could not make a secure connection with WRT54GX4 using this encryption. The router does not seem to like handling WPA-PSK TKIP with old 802.11b devices? Would be interested to know if it can.

I would be grateful.
