I set up IAS on my 2000 server; set up a certificate on the same server. turned the wrt4g to WPA RADIUS. I have an XP Home laptop with a WPC11v3 with the WPA driver. when i try to connect, the connection gets to the "validating identity" status and stays there. I can't figure out why; except that the laptop is XP Home and uses a local logon instead of a domain logon. has anybody made this work??

I was under the impression you had to have XP Pro to participate in a domain security model. I don't know if you can do this with Home. I have some customers who use Home to connect to a Win2k Server but they are just doing simple file sharing and any network drives are mapped with batch files in the startup group. Do you have a Pro box you can test with?
