I have a small office with a WRT54G and I'm trying to connect from my home to access a server on the office network. The WRT54G is sitting behind a DSL modem and I have Cable Modem at home. Can this be done with out adding any additional hardware? Everyone says I need a VPN connection or a Tunnel but all I want to do is connect.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

yes you can do it without any additional hardware.
Look at the port forwarding tab of the wrt54 and install something like vnc on both machines.

CCNA, CCNP..partly ;)

The system at the office is a DVR and I can't install vnc. I think I need to set up a 1 for 1 nat rule, but can't seem to find that anywhere in the config. Can this be done through a command line or something similar?
